When You Visit:

We are looking forward to an opportunity to worship with you in the near future. We are aware of the fact that upon visiting a church for the first time that it may pose many questions. So, we have created this page to give you some helpful information about what to expect upon your first visit. Our attendees dress in a variety of styles. So whether you are dressed casually or in your "Sunday best", you will not feel out of place here at Del Paso Union; and if you have any additional questions after reviewing this page, please feel free to give us a call at (916) 925-5939.

During Service:

Del Paso Union is a place where all are welcome. As you enter the sanctuary, ushers and greeters will be on hand to assist you.

Our helpful ushers will locate and escort you to your seat.
Our services commence with prayer and worship. Our worship team leads the congregation in praise and worship and the lyrics to each song are available in the bulletin. Visitors are welcome to sing and worship along with the congregation. Our warm and friendly greeters are here to welcome all first time visitors and friends each Sunday. Fellowship is a big part of who we are at Del Paso Union, and so during each service we take some time to meet and greet others in the congregation. We serve Communion (The Lord's Supper) on the first Sunday of every month. When we do so, our pastor clearly explains the significance of this practice.

Generally, the sermon is presented by our pastor, Donnell Riggins. However, there are times when a guest minister will present the message. Pastor Donnell is widely known for his practical, down to earth, Bible-centered teachings that help us to apply God's timeless truth to our everyday lives; and you'll love his keen sense of humor!

Children’s Church is available every 2nd and 4th Sunday.

After Service:

Following the service, Pastor Donnell is available to greet visitors at the front of the sanctuary. In addition, those who don't have to leave immediately are free to enjoy refreshments in our Outreach Center.

Sunday school begins at 9:30 am.
Sunday morning worship begins at 10:50 am

Tuesday Night Bible Study:
Prayer service begins at 6:30 pm
Adult Bible Study begins at 7:00 pm
Youth Bible Study begins at 7:00 pm

All services begin on time.

How to Become a Member:

If you are interested in becoming a member of Del Paso Union, here is some important information just for you. Del Paso Union’s doors are always open for those who would like to become a part of this church body. Our Pastors, Elders, Ministers, Deacons, and Ministry Leaders are available to assist you with any questions you may have about what it takes to become a part of this church body. Also listed below are some foundational ministries that must be completed before and after you become an official member of Del Paso Union.

New Members Class:

The Del Paso Union New Members class is a course that all potential members must complete before becoming a member of Del Paso Union. These classes are held on Sunday morning during our Sunday School hour. Periodically, there is an all day Saturday class which covers the five week course information in one day for those members who are unable to attend the five week session. The New Members class schedule will be posted in Sunday’s bulletin.

Discovering your ministry:

Discover how God has designed you and how He will help you to discover how that design fits the intention for which you were created. We will look at your Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experiences (S.H.A.P.E), to help you determine your ministry. We recommend that all new members take the "Discovering Your Ministry" training course to in finding a suitable ministry within the church body. So, discover your ministry and begin working for the Lord.

Merge onto CA-99 N toward SACRAMENTO; Take CAPITAL CITY FWY toward I-80 E toward RENO. Take the MARCONI AVE exit. Turn LEFT onto MARCONI AVE. MARCONI AVE becomes ARCADE BLVD. Merge onto I-80 W toward SACRAMENTO. Take the RALEY BLVD/MARYSVILLE BLVD exit toward MARYSVILLE BLVD. VEER LEFT back over the toward MARYSVILLE BLVD. Stay STRAIGHT on MARYSVILLE BLVD. Turn RIGHT onto LOS ROBLES BLVD at 1335 Los Robles Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95838.

50-EAST (El Dorado Hills Area)
Merge onto US-50 W toward SACRAMENTO. MERGE onto CAPITAL CITY FWY. FOLLOW the I-80 E toward RENO. Take the MARCONI AVE exit. Turn LEFT onto MARCONI AVE. MARCONI AVE becomes ARCADE BLVD.
