"For this reason, since the day
we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and
asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through
all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in
order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may
please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work,
growing in the knowledge of God"
- Colossians 1:9-10
Adult Ministries at DPU encourage, challenge,
and develop the whole person; enabling the individual to experience
the fullness of Christ. We do this by providing adults with
opportunities to fellowship, grow in the Word of God, and
use their spiritual gifts to serve the body of Christ. Programs
are unique and specific to a person’s gender, age, marital
status, and circumstance in life. At DPU, there is something
for everyone, so that no one stands alone.

"Don’t let anyone look down
on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers
in speech, in life, in love, in faith an in purity."
- 1Timothy 4:2
Youth Ministries at DPU focus on issues
relevant to young people today. Our youth learn to apply the
Word of God to such issues in an interactive, high-energy,
technological format so that they grow in love, faith and
purity. Young people, seventh to twelfth grade, experience
the power and love of God through fellowship, entertainment,
biblical instruction and service. At DPU, we develop youth
to unashamedly profess Christ and set the example for all
young people.

Outreach Ministries at DPU extend beyond
the church walls to impact people in our community, our country
and the world. In keeping with our mission, "discipling
the church to impact the world," members of DPU are equipped
to use their spiritual gifts for advancing the Kingdom of
God at home and abroad. It is here, that you radically experience
the essence of evangelism and discipleship; thus, fulfilling
the Great Commission.

Children's Church is designed to teach our
children to follow Christ. DPU’s focus is to equip and
challenge our youth to abide by the Word of God and to develop
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Within Children's
Church are the young adults, the pre-teens, juniors, and boys
and girls ages 2-10. The children participate in different
activities throughout the year such as Harvest Festival, the
Christmas Program and youth programs. The Youth Ministry participates
in planned events each quarter and leads the service every
3rd Sunday. As a teacher’s assistant within Children's
church, the commitment will be to attend on Tuesday nights
and to assist in bible studies, choir rehearsals and special
events. Meeting schedules are posted in Sunday’s bulletin
or as announced by the director.
The principle function of the Hospitality
committee is to greet and welcome incoming guests, provide
visitors information about our church and church services,
and food preparation for various church related functions.
There are many different areas in which to serve within hospitality.
Some of these are greeters, announcement clerks, host/hostesses,
food servers, preparations and decorations. The Hospitality
committee meets as events arise, and meetings are held accordingly.
Adult
The Usher Board at Del Paso Union is devoted to maintaining
peace and order in the house of God. Their purpose as a doorkeeper
is to serve and glorify God. The board consists of adult,
young adult, and junior ushers. The adult ushers provide service
on the first and fourth Sundays. All ushers are to provide
service on fifth Sundays. Meetings are determined by the leaders.
Juniors
The junior ushers meet on second Saturdays at 10:00am for
practice. They usher on second and fifth Sunday of the month.
Though young, they, too, are called to have a desire to serve
and to glorify God.
